Dr. K Sree Latha, Ex-Principal St Peters Engineering college Hyderabad is an able administrator and accomplished educationist graduated in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and M.Tech., in Electrical Power Systems from JNTU College of Engineering Anantapuramu, Andhra Pradesh. Subsequently, she received her Ph. D. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering in 2018 from JNTU college of Engineering, Andhra Pradesh India. She started her career as Lecturer at MITS college. She has served for 25 years in various colleges in India in various positions and currently the Principal of Dr.KVSRIT, Kurnool. Dr. Sree Latha has guided several B.Tech / M.Tech and PhD students and published numerous papers in reputed journals/conference proceedings. Her research areas include Power systems, FACTS, Renewable Energy sources, Electric Vehicles application of intelligent controllers to renewable energy sources. She has got 4 patents published, 01 design patent and 01 utility patent granted to her credit. Dr. Sree Latha is an accomplished academician and administrator who has made significant contributions to the field of engineering education. With 25 years of teaching experience, she has demonstrated a wealth of knowledge and expertise in her field. Her research area in Renewable energy sources and its stability aspects reflects her specialization and research focus. As a true believer on the concepts of Outcome based Education, Dr Sree Latha have a proven track record in developing and implementing successful academic programs. During my tenure as an academic administrator the colleges got NBA NAAC NIRF accreditations and Autonomous status. As an active researcher, Dr. Sree Latha has published 50+ research papers in reputed journals, indicating her dedication to advancing knowledge and contributing to the academic community. Her research has focused on stability analysis of grid connected renewable energy systems, Electric vehicles expertise in this specific field. Her involvement in administration and consultancy work has further demonstrated her practical expertise and ability to bridge the gap between academia and industry. As an academician her solutions to outcome-based education, installation and stabilization of On Grid connected solar energy systems highlights her commitment to real-world challenges. She received grants from various funding agencies for organizing faculty development programs and Short term training programs worth Rs 15Lakhs. Under her able guidance many programs were organized. She received an amount of Rs 6 Lakhs towards Prerana Scheme for SC and ST students under AICTE AQIS. She organized various lectures, conferences etc., with her able guidance and leadership. She has also participated in AICTE-UKERI programme and received the CMI Level 5 certificate in leadership by British Council. Received best Principal Award by EduSkills during 2023 Received outstanding achievement award by ESS and iDEAAS, Malysia during 18th -20th April 2024. Received Best Principal award under super women category by ESI publications in December 2024. Acted as reviewer, convenor and technical session chair at various International Conference held in India, Malaysia and Thailand. In her career, Dr. Sree Latha has held several important positions in various committees and boards, such as being a member of the UGC committee for granting autonomy to Higher Education Institutions (HEI). Her involvement showcases her active role in shaping educational policies and practices. Additionally, her memberships in various professional societies and as board of studies member at various colleges of the Department of EEE further emphasize her contributions to the academic community and her expertise in the field of Electrical Engineering.         At present she is working as a Professor of EEE and Principal of Dr.K.V.Subba Reddy Institute of Technology ,Dupadu, Kurnool.

She has the great Organizational skills and experience. She is an able Administrator and has experience as a Professor and HoD in various Engineering Colleges before he assumed the office of Principal of this Institution.
