Dr. Subba Reddy Borra,the Principal of Dr. K.V. Subba Reddy Institute of Technology in Kurnool is an inspiring leader whose proactive involvement in all college activities truly stands out. His dedication to the Dr. KVSRIT community is evident through his genuine concern for both the academic progress of students and the well-being of staff, making him an incredibly approachable and student-friendly figure. With a strong educational foundation, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bapatla Engineering College, which is affiliated with Nagarjuna University. He further refined his expertise by completing a Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Sathyabama University, followed by a Master of Technology focusing on Neural Networks from the esteemed JNTUK Kakinada. His academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTUH Hyderabad. Bringing over 20 years of rich experience in academia, research, and administration, he has excelled in various roles, including Professor, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, and Dean of Research and Development. His passion lies in inspiring young minds and harnessing their abilities to achieve remarkable success. He embodies a strong belief in himself and his team while valuing the guidance he receives from mentors and peers. An accomplished author, he has published 10 books and holds 4 patents, alongside 120 publications in prestigious national and international journals, including Springer, IEEE Transactions, and Scopus-indexed platforms. His contributions to the field significantly enhance the academic landscape. As a Life Member in several professional organizations such as IETE, IE, ISCA, ISTE, and CSI, he shares his expertise enthusiastically. He has delivered over 10 keynote addresses and expert lectures at various conferences and workshops, generously imparting his knowledge to the academic community. His commitment to student engagement is further exemplified by the establishment of professional chapters for IEEE, ISTE, IETE, and CSI. He has skillfully convened more than 50 conferences and workshops designed to benefit students and staff on diverse themes. His involvement extends to editorial boards and advisory committees for various journals and conferences, where he has actively reviewed numerous publications in his field. With a remarkable track record, he has supervised over 100 projects at both the postgraduate and undergraduate levels, evaluated myriad theses, and served as an examiner for M.Tech students at JNTUK, JNTUH, and other reputable institutions. His collaborations as a guest faculty member, counselor, trainer, and examiner further showcase his dedication to academic excellence. He has been an enthusiastic expert speaker in numerous Faculty Development Programs, organizing a variety of workshops and short-term courses, while also participating in many such programs himself. Additionally, he has taken on the responsibility of setting question papers for several respected government universities and autonomous institutions. His expertise is further recognized through his role as an examiner for Ph.D. thesis evaluations across multiple government and deemed universities. His research interests are exciting and encompass areas like Machine Learning, Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, and Quantum Computing.         At present he is working as a Professor of COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING and Principal of Dr.K.V.Subba Reddy Institute of Technology ,Dupadu, Kurnool.

He has the great Organizational skills and experience. He is an able Administrator and has experience as a Professor and HoD in various Engineering Colleges before he assumed the office of Principal of this Institution.
