As part of choice-based credit system (CBCS), the students have an opportunity to take up a wide range of elective courses including interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary courses. Students are further encouraged to pursue projects to give a vent to their creative and critical thinking.

B.Tech programs(UG)in ECE & EEE accredited and CSE is re-accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A+’ Grade in Ist Cycle 2022. It is a UGC Autonomous college, approved by AICTE, and is permanently affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (AP). Dr. K.V. Subba Reddy Institute of Technology is the brain child of Dr.K.V.Subba Reddy garu, an eminent educationalist, a great academician, a scholar with great vision, a philanthropist, and a legend in the field of establishing and running educational institutions. His love for his erstwhile native district of Kurnool and service motto manifested themselves in the form of this Institution.
